When and where will it be held ?
PyCon UK 2009 will be held on Saturday 5th September at the CBSO Centre, Birmingham.
What's that ?
The home of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. It has excellent facilities for our conference, and is in short walking distance of train and coach stations and hotels at all price levels.
How much will it cost me ?
Advance bookings will be £10, on the door £15.
Who's organising PyCon UK 2009 ?
You are.
Pycon UK 2009 is an UnConference. This means that the delegates arrange the schedule on the day. There's no submission process, and no schedule. You turn up with whatever material you wish to present, you choose which talks are given and which workshops are held on the day. Bruce Eckel prefixed his EuroPython keynote with an introduction to 'Open Space' conferences and he has produced a YouTube video on this subject.
